J.D. Kopp launched Kopp Financial with the belief that all people deserve access to sound financial advice.  Unfortunately, the financial advising industry is full of advisors charging super high fees and recommending inappropriate investments.  J.D. built a business model that delivers high quality financial advice at a fair price.

J.D. registered Kopp Financial as a Registered Investment Advisor in the State of Wisconsin after he passed the Uniform Investment Advisor Law Exam in 2013.  Prior to founding Kopp Financial, J.D. worked for Fortune 500 companies such as IBM and Ameriprise Financial Services.  J.D. has a Masters in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University and a Bachelor of Arts from Gustavus Adolphus College.

 

J.D. works out of his home office in Howard, Wisconsin, where he lives with his wife and two children.  In addition to personal finance, music has been a life long passion.  You just may see him out and about in Green Bay area music circles!
